RailOps 2010 cancelled

Regretfully, due to low registration numbers, the Carolina Southern Division RailOps event for 2010 has been cancelled. 

Our thanks to the layout owners who agreed to participate in this event, and our apologies for not being able to bring enough participants out to enjoy your railroads.  We realize how much work is required to prepare an operating session.  The cancellation had to be made because not enough participants had signed up for the event as a whole, and only some layouts had registrants. 

To those who did register, we thank you and hope you will consider participating in future events.  Planning will begin very soon for the 2011 event, with a lot more publicity issued earlier and in more outlets.

We are disappointed to lose this event for this year, but look forward to doing it again next year.

We are beginning the final week of registration for the Carolina Southern Division RailOps weekend.  Don't miss your opportunity to enjoy some great times operating a number of model railroads in the area.

Registrations and final confirmations will be wrapped up by this coming weekend, October 8-10, 2010.  The RailOps event will be hosted October 15-17, 2010.
